Job Title : Deli Manager
Location : Food Lion, Hilton Head SC
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee Deli Operations : Manage daily deli activities, ensuring smooth operation, including preparing and serving deli products, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety guidelines.
- Staff Supervision : Lead and supervise deli team members, train new hires, schedule shifts, and provide ongoing support to the team.
- Customer Service : Ensure excellent customer service by engaging with customers, addressing concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Inventory Management : Monitor product stock levels, order supplies, and ensure product freshness and availability.
- Budget and Sales : Help meet sales goals, manage costs, and track performance to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Compliance : Ensure the deli follows health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
Key Priorities:
- Team Leadership : Provide guidance, motivation, and training for deli staff.
- Customer Satisfaction : Focus on providing a positive experience for customers through great service and quality products.
- Efficiency and Profitability : Keep the deli running smoothly and profitably by managing inventory, costs, and staffing efficiently.
- Food Safety : Ensure compliance with food safety rules to maintain a clean, safe environment.
