Customer Service Rep (Call Center)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Rep, also known as a Customer Experience Representative, for an on-site call center and client care role in Oxnard, CA. This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong email communication skills, high-volume call center experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle high volumes of incoming customer calls and emails in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Assist customers with product questions, service inquiries, order updates, order changes, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate customer account information and document communications in CRM and related systems.
- Resolve customer concerns by identifying the issue, determining the best solution, coordinating follow-up, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support sales and internal teams with quotes, freight quote requests, order information, and customer updates.
- Manage an assigned territory while building positive customer relationships and delivering a high level of service.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $23 to $25 per hour.
- Location: On-site in Oxnard, CA.
- Type: Direct Hire.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- Must be able to start on Monday, September 14th.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage high-volume customer communication through phone and email.
- Support order changes, customer account updates, quotes, and issue resolution.
- Use CRM, Outlook, and order management tools to track customer activity and follow-up.
- Build customer relationships while supporting assigned territories and internal teams.

- 3-5 years of customer service, call center, client care, or related customer support experience.
- Strong email communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and professional written communication.
- Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively under deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including inbox management, reminders, and follow-up tracking.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to quickly learn products, company processes, and service standards.
- Dependable work ethic with strong attendance and reliability.
- Open to feedback and able to adjust communication or processes as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Basic math skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting high call volume and high email volume environments.
- Previous experience in a call center, customer experience, order processing, manufacturing, promotional products, printing, or distribution environment.
- Experience using accounting software, contact management systems, inventory software, internet-based tools, or order processing systems.
- Stable work history with demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
