IP Technology Patent Counseling and Prosecution Associate

Overview A law firm seeks a patent prosecution associate in Silicon Valley who is eager to work on innovative technology for leading tech companies. The role involves engaging with technologies such as artificial intelligence, encryption, automation, and robotics, with opportunities for crossover work in clean energy and digital health. Responsibilities Engage in patent prosecution and counseling. Collaborate with engineers and developers on technical details. Interact with prominent tech industry clients. Participate in direct partner and client interactions. Support various related legal work. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution and counseling. Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, computer science, or equivalent experience. Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school. U.S. bar membership and registration to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Skills Strong technical understanding of complex technologies.
