Senior Business Development Manager, Canada (Remote – SWO)
Our client, a leading manufacturer of engineered steel solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Canada. This is a remote role focused on developing strategic relationships with OEMs in the agriculture, construction equipment, and forestry industries.
This is an ideal opportunity for a true hunter who thrives on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business while building long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy focused on OEM accounts.
- Prospect, qualify, and win new business opportunities across Canada.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in the agriculture, construction equipment, and forestry sectors.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and close.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development or technical sales experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success selling to OEMs, preferably in the agriculture, construction equipment, or forestry industries.
- Hunter mentality with a demonstrated track record of winning new business.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel across Canada as required.
