Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced critical care therapies as prescribed
• Operate and monitor specialized critical care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery goals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives
• Adapt quickly to different ICU environments and patient populations
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Recent intensive care unit experience required
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in multiple care settings and adapt to changing patient needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
