Assoc Clinical Development Director

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director in Virology Clinical Development to support clinical trials and development strategies for HIV therapies. The physician-level role involves protocol development, medical monitoring, regulatory submissions, and data interpretation within a multidisciplinary team in Foster City, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical expertise to support clinical development project deliverables and timelines
- Develop and review clinical trial protocols, study reports, and regulatory submissions
- Conduct ongoing medical monitoring for clinical trials including safety surveillance
- Collect, review, and interpret clinical data for internal analysis and decision-making
- Present scientific and clinical information at investigator meetings and conferences
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with 2+ years relevant experience in medicine or healthcare
- Training or experience in HIV medicine, Infectious Diseases, or HIV clinical research
- Exposure to clinical research through academic, industry, or investigator-initiated studies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret clinical data
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities
- Willingness to work on-site at Foster City campus; remote work not available
