Job Title Professional Fine Dining Prep Cook Compensation $18–$20 per hour Benefits Continued education for culinary & wine knowledge Daily shift meals Performance‑based culture (promotions & pay) Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Flexible schedule 401(k) with matching after a year of full‑time employment Required Training / Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent (helpful but not required) Former culinary schooling preferred Minimum two years’ experience in a similar capacity Minimum Qualifications Ability to stand for nine hours and lift at least 40 pounds Wearing specified uniform and proper footwear Professional and accurate communication skills Responsibilities Check with supervisor on duty for that shift’s prep schedule Use recipe book for batch, process, and portion prep Read recipe before starting Weigh and measure all ingredients Ice bath hot recipes before storing and store in walk‑in with lid cracked Immediately refrigerate all items prepared Clean as you go and use clean food storage containers Date label and rotate product Assume responsibility for freshness and quality of items prepared Follow sanitation and safety procedures Check with the Leader on Duty regarding condition of prep, storage of items and cleanliness of prep area Pass all general and departmental tests with 90% grade or greater Perform other related duties as assigned by Chef/Sous Chef or Leadership Team Keep clean and professional appearance Work with teamwork always in mind Who You Are You have a minimum of three years’ culinary experience, are skilled in preparing culinary products, and can work in high‑volume environments.
