Cable Assembly TechnicianJohnson Service Group has an immediate opportunity for a Cable Assembly Technician for a Company in Orange, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to perform cable and wire assembly, soldering, crimping, molding, testing, and inspection while following engineering drawings and work instructions. Pay rate: $24Responsibilities:Cable cutting and cable preparationConnector-end and flying-lead/strip-end preparationCrimp terminal lugs and connector endsCoax cable assemblyStuffing and epoxy applicationEpoxy mold, pre-mold, and overmold operationsShrink tubing and solder splicingSoldering to IPC J-STD-001 standardsBraid/shield preparation and machine braidingMold setup and hardware installationTesting and in-process inspectionFinal visual inspectionRead and interpret drawings, routers, and work instructionsCommunicate effectively and follow instructions in EnglishMaintain quality, safety, and production standardsQualifications:Cable/wire assembly or manufacturing experience preferredSoldering and crimping experience preferredAbility to read drawings and routersStrong attention to detail and qualityGood communication and English skillsAbility to use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasksJSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
