Snelling is currently recruiting for a  Contract Administrator  for a site development company in the Birmingham area. This position will provide administrative support to project teams by tracking & review of contractual documents throughout all project phases.

Starting Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually with bonus opportunities

Job Duties for Contract Administrator

• Working with the project management team in drafting and issuance of subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and other forms of contracts.
• Ensure all required documentation is in place and current, prior to execution of agreement and start of work.
• Manage progress, risk mitigation and insurance requirements for all contracts.
• Administration of subcontract payment applications. Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with project team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain necessary reporting of sub-contract performance.
• Work with Project Team and Suppliers/Subcontractors to ensure procurement activities and contracts are prioritized and occurring to support the project schedule.
• Orders and tracks state and local licensing requirements. 
• Aid in project closeout documents. 

Job Requirements for Contract Administrator

• 3-5 years’ experience working with contracts & Purchase Orders
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, & DocuSign
• Organizational Skills
• Must be able to work in a team setting
• Prior Construction office exp is a PLUS
