Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health conditions, tailoring therapeutic plans based on individual evaluations.

• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to individuals, families, groups, and couples, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards while adhering to the clinic's policies.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated care strategies that improve client outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed of current mental health trends and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with adolescents and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. Clients may be experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach focuses on actively listening to client concerns and tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs, fostering a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of and experience with various therapeutic methodologies that enhance client engagement and healing.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technological tools to document client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization and proven experience in family therapy, adolescent therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse recovery, or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
