We are hiring a Cloud FinOps Specialist to provide financial governance for Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments supporting a federal health customer. You will work with program leadership, engineering, and operations teams to make cloud spend visible, keep it on budget, and find ways to get more value from it. The role sits on a cloud operations and migration team. This position is fully remote in the United States.

• Build and manage cost-tracking dashboards and leadership reports that give clear visibility into cloud spend across GCP and OCI.
• Manage cloud budgets and configure spending alerts that catch anomalies early.
• Define and enforce tagging standards for accurate cost allocation, forecasting, and reporting.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through rightsizing, committed-use evaluations, and architecture changes.
• Establish financial governance that works within FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53 environments.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting or finance, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of experience in cloud financial management, FinOps, or cloud operations.
• 3+ years leading technical teams, including developing technical standards for cloud environments and providing technical direction.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and OCI cost-management tools and billing structures.
• Experience building cost dashboards with native tools (BigQuery, Looker Studio, OCI Cost Analysis) or third-party tools.
• Strong data analysis skills and deep familiarity with tagging, consumption-based billing, and multi-cloud governance.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).

• FinOps Certified Practitioner or a similar FinOps credential.
• Active Public Trust
• Cloud certifications in GCP, OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience managing GCP Committed Use Discounts and OCI Universal Credits or annual commitments.
• Cost management for Oracle BYOL, Exadata, and Autonomous Database services.
• Experience with Cloudability, Apptio, or Kubecost.
• Experience in government or other regulated enterprise environments.

$120,000 - $145,000 a year

The posted range is base annual salary, placement within the range depends on qualifications, relevant experience, and contract requirements.
