Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: 0800-1630

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Strong Emergency Department skills
• IV Insertion skills required
• Cardiac skills required: Ability to obtain 12 Lead EKG, Tele Interpretation, Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Airway skills preferred: Procedural Sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilators, Trach Care
• Experience with chemical dependency preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Perform assessments and interventions for a diverse patient population, focusing on stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac diseases, and orthopedic conditions.
• Maintain a fast-paced work environment while supporting team members and adapting to a high admission rate.
