Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWe're hiring a Maintenance Technician to support overnight operations at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Vineland. This is a hands-on role that blends mechanical troubleshooting (60%) with basic to intermediate electrical work (40%) to keep production and packaging lines running smoothly. If you're mechanically inclined, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting, we'd love to connect.Key Responsibilities:Perform mechanical maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, packaging machinery, and palletizersConduct routine inspections, PMs, and emergency repairs on equipment to minimize downtimeTroubleshoot and replace belts, bearings, seals, valves, chains, and drive componentsSupport electrical maintenance including replacing sensors, limit switches, motors, and wiring up to 480VRead and interpret mechanical diagrams and basic electrical schematicsUse basic test equipment (multimeters) to check circuits and motor control componentsAdjust machinery for changeovers and support the production team as neededDocument work orders and PMs in a CMMS systemFollow all OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and plant safety protocolsQualifications:3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food, beverage, or packaging environmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills; comfortable with tools, fasteners, moving parts, and rotating equipmentBasic electrical skills: 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and simple controlsAble to read mechanical blueprints and basic wiring diagramsComfortable lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spacesCMMS experience preferredNice to Have:Experience with food-grade machinery or sanitary equipmentKnowledge of glue systems, filling machines, or case packersHVAC, boiler, or utility system exposureCompensation: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
