What you will do 

Our continued growth has produced a need for a talented Life Safety Service Representative, Electronic to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include professionally representing the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of Electronic Fire Service offerings to various customers and end users within assigned territory and accounts. This is a Field Sales Representative position responsible for selling Electronic Services (Moves, Adds and changes) to assigned customer base (geography or account).

• Own the outcome of each opportunity with professionalism, safety, and integrity from first conversation through service delivery.
• Stay close to the customer’s needs, remove obstacles quickly, and focus on the actions that create the most value for the account.
• Work in a disciplined, proactive rhythm by keeping opportunities qualified, proposals current, and follow-up timely.
• Collaborate openly across sales, technical, service, and engineering teams so customers experience a coordinated response.
• Use building surveys, proposals, and financial justifications to present clear, credible solutions that help customers make decisions confidently.
• Improve every day by learning from each sales cycle, resolving issues with candor, and strengthening your approach through continuous problem-solving.

What we look for   

Required  

• Highly Self-motivated and success driven 

• High energy level with a focus toward customers and a strong desire to succeed. 

• High degree of self-discipline.   

• Strong written and oral communication.    

• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communications skills and ability to persuade and close sales required.    

• Ability to obtain appropriate licenses required by national, state and local codes.    

• Minimum two years, successful sales or technical experience with fire alarms, security control, and monitoring or similar industry. Or equivalent technical experience and/or education.     

Preferred   

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering preferred.    

• Ability to obtain NICET certification within the first 12 months of employment   

• Experience working with electrical contractors, ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.    

• Computer experience including familiarity with Word, Excel, and job costing systems, Microsoft and Oracle programs preferred.  

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $61,400 - $82,300 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
