As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as a Front Desk professional, welcoming visitors, managing access and badges, responding to alarms and supporting security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this visible role, you will help to deter incidents through strong communication, attention to detail and customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting shoppers, tenants, staff, and visitors, verifying access as needed, and following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with mall management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and report unusual or suspicious activity related to the location.
• Support security-related operations by answering questions, directing foot traffic, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
