As a family company, we can do things differently and for the past 30 years our long-term commitment to team members has been unsurpassed.We offer our team members:Highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance).Company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Paid time off – 9 holidays, 15 vacation days, 5 personal days (eligible employees).401(k) with company match and immediate vesting!Company-paid short & long-term disability insurance.Fitness reimbursement, pet insurance discounts, advanced pay, tuition reimbursement, and public transportation reimbursement.A stable, growing company with opportunities for advancement!If you are someone with:A High School diploma (required) and an AA degree in accounting or a related field (preferred)At least 4 years of accounts payable and general ledger experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsA high level of proficiency in English (oral and written)The ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentProficiency in Excel (YARDI experience preferred)The Accounts Payable Specialists responsible for but not limited to the following:Processing Accounts Payable, including entering invoices, coordinating payments, processing expense reports, and handling check requestsConducting regular and urgent check runs, maintaining vendor records, and researching vendor and employee inquiriesCommunicating regularly with Operations and Accounting teams on AP workflow, serving as a resource for supportPreparing bank reconciliations and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledgerAssisting with government reporting (e.g., sales taxes, 1099s, unclaimed property)Supporting special projects and other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: This role requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs), bending, or reaching. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
