Key Responsibilities

• Circulate independently across a wide variety of operating room cases including general surgery, orthopedic total joints, and spine procedures
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems including DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa platforms
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-volume regional OR setting with a 14-bed unit and 1:1 ratio
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic medical records
• Adhere to facility protocols including holiday coverage requirements and on-call obligations as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current Operating Room RN experience
• Active Iowa RN license or active Compact/Multistate RN license at time of submission
• Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics
• Proficient experience in orthopedic surgery including Total Joints and Spine
• Proficient experience in general surgery with ability to circulate various cases independently
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Mako and/or Rosa robotic equipment (highly preferred, as approximately 80% of total joint cases utilize these systems)
• Scrub experience in the OR setting
• Travel nursing experience within the previous 15 months
• EPIC EMR experience
