This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of atalentedand hardworking team of engineers, you willwork on designing and developing keystructuralground systems for Blue Origin's launch site at LC-36 (Cape Canaveral, FL). You'll have the unique opportunity to be part of a great team building thegroundmechanical and structural systems and GSE (Ground Support Equipment) for Blue Origin's giant rockets, New Glennand New Glenn 9x4!

Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical lead for major structural systems, mentor junior staff,drive design standards and best practices.

• Define and drivestructural designsolutionsforlargestructural/mechanicalsystems.

• Lead,perform, and reviewFEA and hand-calcs forcomplexsteel structures.

• Manage external design and fabrication partners through complete project lifecycle, and oversee equipment fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing & activation.

MinimumQualifications(required):

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree inStructuralEngineering,or similar disciplines.

• 10+ years experience with astrongbackground indesign/analysis/constructionoflarge and complexsteelstructural systems (e.g.steel towers,launch vehicle GSE, aerospace tooling, oil&gasstructures, movable structures,steel bridges and platforms,etc).

• Experience in structural and mechanical analysis utilizing FEAtools.

• Experience designing and analyzing bolted and welded connections.

• Knowledge of civil engineering codes and standards (e.g. IBC, ASCE, AISC, AWS, etc).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired(not required):

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering,or closely related field.

• Structural Engineer (SE) license.

• Experience in STAAD,ANSYS, and SAP2000.

• Experience in PTC Creo/Windchill.

• 3+ yearsdirectGSE design and analysisexperience.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
