Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location: Plainview, TX
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $1,800/week - $2,300/week (Based on Eligibility and Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting Contract job in Plainview, TX.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.

• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.

• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.

• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Serve as Charge Nurse and provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.

• Previous Charge Nurse experience.

• Ability to function independently in a Charge Nurse role upon assignment start.

• Ability to assume charge responsibilities with minimal department orientation.

• Strong emergency department clinical experience.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• First-time travelers accepted.

Assignment Details

• Expected Patient Ratio: 4:1.

• No Floating Required.

• 48-hour schedules not approved.

• Rapid decision-making and problem-solving.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
