Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) Charge Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Charge Nurse (RN) to lead clinical operations in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will have prior charge nurse experience and be capable of assuming charge responsibilities with minimal departmental orientation.

Schedule

• 12-Hour Shifts
• Block Scheduling
• Weekend coverage as needed
• No on-call requirement

Experience Requirements

• Prior Emergency Department Charge Nurse experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Ability to function in a charge role upon arrival with minimal orientation

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• TNCC Certification

Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department
• Coordinate patient flow and staffing assignments
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Assist with emergency and trauma cases

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and patient safety standards
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
