The branch manager is responsible for supervising and managing the branch. They oversee branch operations, financial performance, branch staff, loan originations and loan collections. Duties include providing excellent customer service, loan approvals and review, and managing and supervising employees.

Branch Manager Duties and Responsibilities

· Develops and maintains customer relationships

· Manages and supervises branch employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership

· Branch operation and financial performance

· Compliance with all lending and collection procedures and processes

· Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees

· Loan approvals

· Marketing branch within the community to attract business

· Auto financing experience is a plus

· Review of financial and other reports for performance, trends, and needed action

· Loan Growth and branch profitability

Branch Manager Requirements and Qualifications

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

· Ability to support and develop team and staff; mentor and lead

· Desire to grow branch with new accounts, clients, and businesses

· Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge

· Understands financial and operational reports

· Assists and motivates team members when needed to accomplish branch goals

· Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

· Good interpersonal skills

· Accurate and pays attention to detail

· Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field, preferred

· Previous management experience in the consumer finance industry

· Good computer skills; experience with lending software, Microsoft Office Suite

Good written and verbal communication skills
