Job Title: Contract Recruiter
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. Based in Philadelphia, PA, this temporary, Onsite opportunity will provide essential recruiting assistance across multiple geographic areas while helping maintain an organized and responsive candidate experience. The Contract Recruiter will contribute to hiring efforts for property operations, facilities, leasing, and maintenance positions through applicant evaluation, phone screening, and interview coordination. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys daily collaboration, communicates confidently with candidates, and wants to build practical talent acquisition experience.
Compensation:
$25 to $28 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter:

• Support recruiting activity across two geographic regions, helping the talent acquisition team maintain consistent coverage and timely progress on open positions.
• Analyze applications and resumes for leasing, property management, facilities, and maintenance opportunities to identify candidates whose backgrounds align with role requirements.
• Conduct structured 15 to 20 minute introductory phone conversations with candidates pursuing hourly and early career positions.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, scheduling details, and related administrative tasks to keep the hiring process organized.
• Maintain accurate recruiting information within an applicant tracking system while following established screening procedures and documentation standards.

Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Recruiter:

• Previous exposure to talent acquisition or recruiting support through professional experience, an HR internship, or comparable academic experience.
• Familiarity with reviewing resumes, managing applicant information, or completing recruiting activities within an applicant tracking system; experience with any specific platform is not required.
• Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone and able to learn standardized screening questions and interview procedures through training.
• Ability to evaluate candidates for maintenance and skilled trade positions while adapting review methods appropriately for professional or management level openings.
• Pleasant and collaborative approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues in an Onsite team environment.
