Job Description and Duties

Under direction of the Supervisor I over the Administrative and Management Services Unit, the Analyst II performs a wide variety of analytical assignments; coordinates and prepares personnel recruitment and hiring packages for the Office of Health Information (OHI) and Office of Technology Services (OTS) management and oversees the division personnel related functions; administers personnel budget oversight; policy analysis; formulation and tracking. Provides support for personnel, budgetary, OHI/OTS procurement and general administrative tasks, provides administrative assistance on critical and time-sensitive assignments related to training, travel, expenses, Human Resource related tasks, calendar/scheduling activities and budget tracking to support the Deputy Director and the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month. Desirable Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience performing analytical work, Human Resources Policy/Processes/Hiring, Administrative processes.
• 1-3 years experience in delivering Customer Service work in a medium to large company or agency.
• 1-3 years experience maintaining various tracking reports and review for analysis.***
• 1-3 years experience with scheduling/organizing meetings/travel arrangements and maintaining executive calendars.
• 1-3 years experience drafting and tracking critical confidential correspondence for Senior Management.
• 1-3 years experience with an inventory/purchase tracking database system.
• 1-3 years experience with developing and documenting business processes.
• 1-3 years experience with tracking and maintaining a budget.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe productivity solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.***
• Ability to work on multiple tasks or parts of tasks simultaneously to ensure timely and accurate completion and work independently on projects or assignments.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with management, staff, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise professional judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to remain flexible with constantly changing priorities including the ability to take the lead when needed on completing time sensitive and high priority assignments with appropriate speed and urgency without sacrificing quality.
