This facility is a well-established hospital offering a 16-bed Level III NICU supported by a robust multidisciplinary team, including Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a large network of faculty and private practice physicians. The facility supports over 1,100 annual deliveries and is committed to evidence-based, family-centered neonatal care, quality improvement, and outstanding patient outcomes.


Opportunity:
Physician - Neonatology


Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 16-bed Level III NICU
• Manage an average daily census of 7-8 NICU patients
• Deliver specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries
• Provide care for healthy newborns in the newborn nursery
• Collaborate closely with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in continuous 24/7 onsite NEOS coverage
• Support over 1,100 annual deliveries
• Deliver evidence-based, family-centered neonatal care
• Work in collaboration with an extensive network of faculty physicians, private practice physicians, and specialty associates
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Leadership opportunities available for qualified candidates
• Practice in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive clinical environment
• Contribute to ongoing excellence in neonatal outcomes and patient experience
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required
• Neonatology fellowship training required with no exemptions
• Active Georgia Medical License required or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area
