Welder, 3rd Shift

Job Overview A 3rd Shift Welder for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. The main emphasis is welding/fitting with additional duties of fabrication, assembly, painting, and general repair and maintenance of shop equipment. The welder must maintain tolerances and dimensions specified by print. Candidates should have 1–2 years of welding/fitting experience. Shift 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. Job Functions Build high‑quality welded parts from blueprints with a low rejection rate while maintaining specified tolerances Produce parts from sheet metal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum using sketches/drawings Maintain a neat and organized workspace Show mutual respect for coworkers Punctual attendance; overtime may be required Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis) Travel Requirements No travel required.
