Job Description
Serves as team lead and Contracting Officer providing advice, guidance and expertise to the Chief of Contracting, responsible for executing assigned acquisition programs with limited execution signature authority.
Serves as Contract Specialist interfacing with District, Division staff, and Regional contacts to assist the Chief of Contracting in the procurement of Construction, Services, A/E Services, and Supply vehicles.
The primary function of the team is to develop and implement contracting policies, procedures, and acquisition strategies; ensure regulatory compliance; and coordinate contracting activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements of the program include contract administration, policy/procedure, and purchasing functions involving highly specialized procurements, along with associated special programs.
