We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and families, communicates professionally, and can stay organized in a fast-paced medical office. This is a great opportunity for someone with medical front-office experience who is looking for a stable, long-term position with a close-knit specialty practice. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients and families Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Review referrals and patient information Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances Assist with patient check-out and follow-up scheduling Maintain accurate demographic and insurance information Communicate professionally and compassionately with parents and caregivers Work closely with physicians, technicians, and other front-office team members Assist with additional administrative duties as needed What We’re Looking For Previous medical front desk, medical receptionist, or patient coordinator experience preferred Ophthalmology experience is a plus, but not required Strong customer-service and communication skills Comfortable discussing insurance benefits and patient balances Dependable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment Professional and positive when interacting with patients, parents, physicians, and coworkers Willing to learn and be part of a team *Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Why Join Our Practice?
