What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, including sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, and post-op surgeries
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes promptly, including performing EKGs and wound management as required
• Administer medications, IV treatments, and operating medical equipment such as IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and communicating care plans using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, and ST, to optimize patient outcomes
• Float between units as needed, with support from charge nurses and unit staff
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to assignment
• Preferred:
  • Experience in telemetry or surgical units
  • Strong wound care skills and familiarity with invasive procedures
  • Adaptability to float across different units
