Job Title Pediatric Hospitalist (PRN) - San Antonio, TX Division CHRISTUS Children's Hospital - San Antonio Work Arrangement Location: San Antonio, TX Salary Range: FLSA Status: Nonexempt Work Schedule: Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Children's Summary The Division of Hospital Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a PRN faculty position at CHRISTUS Children’s as a Pediatric Hospitalist. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics. Job Duties Responsibilities include the provision of hospital care to pediatric inpatients, including overnight coverage; consultations and co‑management of sub‑specialty, surgical, and psychiatric pediatric patients; pediatric sedation; teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and staff; active involvement in inpatient quality, safety, and administrative activities; and protected time for academic/scholarly activities in clinical informatics, outcomes research, child advocacy, education, or quality improvement. Minimum Qualifications MD/DO degree. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same).
