We're seeking a high-performing Sales Engineer to lead sales efforts for our Stylus Optical Metrology, Tribology, and FilmTek product lines across the US East territory. Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers and Scientists: Provide Bruker Solutions to complex industry/research problems.
• Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with scientists, engineers, and decision-makers in key sectors like semiconductors, microelectronics, and biotech.
• Strategize & Execute: Develop and implement tactical sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly targets.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (Applications, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
• Represent Bruker: Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events to showcase our technology and expand your network.
• Own the Territory: Drive sales growth by managing the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closingin academic, industrial, and government research environments.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience selling into academic, industrial, and semiconductor markets is a plus.
• Familiarity with multi-level sales channels and strategic selling methodologies (Miller-Heiman preferred).
• Success in capital equipment sales, ideally within scientific or technical markets is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Ellipsometry, Reflectometry, or related technologies highly desired.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 2 years sales/applications experience or advanced degree in the same fields with no experience.

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $79,200 and $141,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
