Job Description What You Will Do:

• *Lead the charge** on your shift or team to perform pre-analytic and post-analytic specimen and order processing—keeping the lab running like a well-oiled machine!
• *Train and empower** other lab assistants, ensuring everyone follows procedures and stays on their A-game.
• *Dive into** a variety of routine laboratory procedures and support services tailored to your assigned laboratory section.
• *Be the mentor and teacher** that helps others master pre-analytic specimen activities, building a team of lab superstars who maintain top-notch competency levels.

Qualifications Required Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. High level of competency in performing all Laboratory Assistant duties relevant to the assigned location. Competence and experience in pre-analytic specimen activities, including teaching and mentoring others. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with medical terminology.
