Accounting Supervisor

Financial Reporting, Analysis & Budgeting Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (including P&L and budget-to-actual variances) to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities. Present clear financial insights to leadership and support quarterly review meetings. Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecast projections, and manage cash flow. General Ledger & Accounting Operations Oversee daily accounting workflows, maintain the general ledger, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring all transactions, invoices, and adjustments are accurate and complete. Maintain organized, compliant, and up-to-date financial records. Payroll & Transactional Oversight Import and reconcile Paycor payroll data into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate journal entries and compliance. Oversee AP/AR processes, including vendor invoices, customer collections, credit memos, and employee expense reports. Provide hands‑on backup for AP, AR, and billing functions as needed. Compliance, Controls & Leadership Maintain robust internal controls, protect confidential data, and prepare files for external CPA audits. Train, guide, and cross‑train accounting staff to ensure operational continuity. Partner with HR, Sales, and Operations to streamline workflows, document procedures, and drive continuous process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Accounting certification or CPA track experience preferred but not required. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of accounting supervisory or leadership experience required. Manufacturing accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. Experience with payroll accounting and reconciliation preferred. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in QuickBooks strongly preferred. Experience with Paycor or similar payroll systems preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM.
