Supported by our corporate office and central commissary in Chantilly, we serve thousands of guests every day. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team and support our multi-location restaurant operations. Position Overview The Payroll Specialist will manage all aspects of payroll processing for our hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy to ensure timely and compliant payroll operations. Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time for all store and corporate employees Verify timecards, tip reports, and hours worked from POS and timekeeping systems Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries to management Manage payroll adjustments, new hires, terminations, and PTO tracking Assist with audits and respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff and management Maintain confidentiality of employee and company payroll data Requirements More than 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably in the restaurant industry or multi-location business Proficiency in payroll software(Toast, ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel (required) Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and reporting Excellent organizational and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees Familiarity with benefits administration and timekeeping systems a plus Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of restaurant tip reporting and labor compliance Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Benefits 5 days PTO beginning 30 days from hire date 3 paid sick days (begin accruing after 30 days) 7 paid holidays per year Health Insurance (Anita’s covers 60% of employee cost; effective 30 days from hire) Employee discount on working days Complimentary meal every Tuesday Payroll is biweekly via direct deposit On-site position at the corporate office in Chantilly, VA (office closed for lunch at 11 AM) Job Type Full-time Work Location In person Pay From $35 per hour depending on experience Benefits Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Hispanic-Jobs.com
