Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to understand their condition and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a one-on-one setting with patients while continuously monitoring progress.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers concerning treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by establishing a positive rapport with patients and addressing any concerns effectively.
• Meet and strive to exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute to overall business objectives of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse groups, including pediatric, neurologic, and geriatric patients, ensuring an enriching experience in the practice of physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Two years of experience in the field of physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic setting, is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using word processing software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients and commit to achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with advanced manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Prior involvement in program development or quality improvement initiatives within a health care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
