Work Environment

As part of our outpatient clinics, our Physical Therapists work onsite in clients' homes in the Boca Grande area, allowing us to provide personalized care that is tailored to individual patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which includes reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing specific assessments to formulate and document treatment recommendations.
• Clearly explain evaluation findings and collaboratively develop treatment plans with active input from patients and their families, aligning goals with patient needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing treatment protocols, adapting approaches based on individual evaluations and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Consult regularly with other healthcare professionals as needed, documenting any changes in patients' conditions, and making timely adjustments to their care plans.
• Complete discharge planning and follow-up care efficiently and accurately, ensuring thorough documentation of patient encounters, treatment successes, and overall care trajectories.
• Exemplify strong time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an accurate schedule and punctuality for meetings and commitments.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services and foster relationships within the Boca Grande community.
• Contribute to clinical education by taking initiative in professional development, mentoring students, and engaging in continuing education activities.
• Promote superior customer service experiences and facilitate access to care through flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, primarily dealing with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Serving patients in their homes allows for a personalized approach to rehabilitation, encouraging greater patient engagement and potentially improving outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• A valid CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While it is essential to have foundational experience, candidates with specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, certifications in manual therapy, or familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities will be considered favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
