Work Environment

This position is onsite in our outpatient office, providing hands-on therapeutic services to patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions, determining their individual needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans using various methods, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to accommodate changing conditions and ensuring the highest possible functional outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on exercises, assistive devices, and self-management strategies to promote independence.
• Document all treatment procedures, outcomes, and progress in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care and address any patient concerns.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and keeping current with industry literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve range from pediatric to geriatric populations, encompassing various diagnoses such as orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will involve thorough assessment and tailoring of treatments that consider each patient's unique circumstances, lifestyle, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited university.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for patient education and documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer and word processing applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, ideally within an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele and knowledge of current physical therapy best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
