Work Environment

Located in a bustling part of Punta Gorda, our outpatient office provides a welcoming space for healing and recovery. The clinic features state-of-the-art equipment and treatment areas designed to optimize patient care. As part of our onsite team, you will work alongside fellow healthcare professionals in a spirited and engaging atmosphere, with operational hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This structured schedule allows for work-life balance while dedicating your energy to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to develop effective treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Adhere to state practice acts, ensuring compliance with laws governing therapy practices and supervision of support staff where applicable.

• Perform a range of assessments, document pertinent medical histories, and provide clear clinical recommendations based on evaluations.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols effectively, considering patient presentations and the evolving healthcare landscape.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care and recognize any changes in a patient's condition that may require adjustments to their treatment plans.

• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients from therapy, and provide ongoing follow-up care.

• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly within the electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain compliance and monitor care progress effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending team meetings, educational conferences, and in-service training sessions.

• Actively contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient access and engagement through team collaboration and community outreach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from those recovering from surgeries and injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will be central in helping these patients regain their independence, enhance their mobility, and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution, with a valid state license in Florida.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a physical therapist, demonstrating professional expertise and a commitment to patient care.

• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and emergency preparedness.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with both patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with digital health solutions or personal training can be advantageous, particularly in enhancing patient engagement and outcomes.

• Prior involvement in healthcare teams focused on multidisciplinary collaboration will be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package also includes comprehensive benefits such as:
