Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their physical abilities and limitations, and documenting relevant medical history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their goals and preferences into care plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques tailored to each patient's needs, closely monitoring their progress and modifying treatment approaches as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated care and address any escalations in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment progress, and discharge plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and contribute to the establishment of departmental goals and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach programs and marketing efforts to raise awareness about our services and promote prevention and wellness.
• Provide mentorship and training support for students and new staff, encouraging the development of skilled professionals in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative rehabilitation cases to individuals with chronic pain and mobility impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required); a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy techniques and treatments, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience working as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation facility is preferred.
• Experience in specialized treatment areas (e.g., geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology) is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
