Job Details Specialty: ICU / Critical Care Setting: Short-term acute care hospital Location: Portland, Oregon 97213 Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: September 21, 2026 Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 36 hours per week, typically 3 shifts per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160 Charting System: Epic Patient Ratio: 1:2 days, nights, and weekends Weekend Coverage: Required Float Requirement: May float to meet unit needs and support nearby facilities Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license eligible for assignment in Oregon or compact license in hand at submission At least 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CCRN certifications required Strong experience with Epic charting preferred Ability to care for adult critical care patients with complex diagnoses and advanced monitoring needs Experience with ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, central line management, and dysrhythmia interpretation Comfortable floating as needed based on patient and unit needs Reliable transportation required for the travel assignment Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult ICU patients with acute and life-threatening conditions Monitor and respond to changes in patient status using advanced critical care assessment skills Manage complex therapies including ventilator support, sedation, vasoactive drips, and hemodynamic monitoring Perform and maintain line care, arterial line management, blood product administration, and IV therapy Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic Support safe patient outcomes while maintaining professional communication and strong clinical judgment Adapt to float expectations and changing unit needs while delivering consistent, compassionate care Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Portland, Oregon, and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
