Details Work in the ICU of a short-term acute care hospital Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts weekly (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 Weekend rotation required at least every other weekend No on-call responsibilities May be required to float to other units and sister facilities based on skill set Uses Epic EMR for charting Requirements Active OR RN license (Compact accepted) required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CCRN preferred Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required Epic EMR experience required Proficient in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial and central line management, IV therapy, blood product administration, ABG interpretation, and titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips Must provide 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years Additional Information Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment Any color scrubs are accepted Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) RTO requests must be submitted upfront during consideration; minimal additional time off can be accommodated after an offer is made Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at an adjusted pay rate Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month break, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-749058.
