Position Overview

Spherion Staffing in Sherman, TX is looking for an energetic, results-driven Bilingual Staffing Recruiter (English/Spanish) to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of Spherion—connecting local talent with top light industrial, administrative, and skilled trade employers across North Texas. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships, and are fluent in both English and Spanish, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact in our community. Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, pay ranges between $16-18/hr depending on recruiting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Talent Acquisition: Proactively recruit, screen, and interview qualified candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions using job boards, social media, local networking, and community job fairs.
• Bilingual Communication: Conduct interviews, skills assessments, onboarding, and safety orientations in both English and Spanish to ensure clear communication and candidate compliance.
• Client & Candidate Matching: Evaluate client staffing requests and match the right candidates based on skill sets, availability, culture fit, and pay expectations.
• Account Management Support: Build strong working relationships with client managers to understand their hiring needs and maintain high fill rates.
• Administrative & Compliance: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), process background checks/drug screens, verify employment eligibility (I-9 compliance), and handle candidate check-ins.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bilingual Fluency: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Spanish (Required).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in staffing, recruiting, and customer service (Required).
• Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Tech-comfortable with ATS platforms, Google Drive, and web-based sourcing tools.
• Adaptability: High energy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
