Police Recruit
The City of Peoria, AZ is seeking a Police Recruit for its Police Department. This full-time position offers a salary of $33.97 hourly and is located at 8401 West Monroe Street, Peoria, AZ 85345.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for law enforcement and making a positive impact on the community, as well as committed to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service. The Police Recruit position within the Police Department performs the following tasks:
- Learn operations of the Police Department first-hand through observation and participation in a wide variety of police activities.
- Serve in a training capacity while attending the Police Academy.
Testing dates for this application period are as follows:
- Physical and Written Test Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026 @ 7:00 am
- Physical Test Workout Dates: Saturday, October 10, 2026 @ 6:00 am and Saturday, October 24, 2026 @ 6:00 am
- Oral Boards: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Applicants will be scored based on the following criteria:
- Physical Testing
- Written Score
- Veteran's Points
- Oral Board Score
