The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 will report to a supervisor in the department and is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Mail Operations Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients.

Required Qualifications

• You are required to have a Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• You are required to be actively licensed as a Pharmacist in Arizona, Florida, Ohio or Texas without disciplinary action.
• You must have a minimum three, (3) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a high-volume retail, community, or traditional mail order pharmacy practice environment.
• You must have the ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
• You are required to be Proficient with computers such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint and troubleshoot and resolve general technical difficulties such as your home internet/modem.
• Preferred Qualifications
• PharmD
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish - You will be required to pass a language assessment.

• Workstyle: Remote Work at Home
• Location: Must reside and work in the Florida, Arizona, Texas, or Ohio
• Schedule: The schedule will be set between 8am-8pm EST Monday-Friday and 8:00 am-4:30 pm EST Saturday.
  • Annual shift bids are conducted, and schedule changes may occur dependent upon business need.
  • Mandatory Overtime may be required if business need arises but will not exceed 10 hours per week.
• Travel While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Work at Home Guidance To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$104,000 - $143,000 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
