Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the underlying issues of clients' mental health concerns using evidence-based techniques. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate patient input, aligning therapeutic interventions with their personal goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective counseling sessions. Regularly review and adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in care. Document client progress and challenges meticulously in our electronic health records system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files. Participate in weekly clinical meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and stay informed about best practices and new developments in the mental health field. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, fostering a collaborative approach to wellness. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve include individuals battling a range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and stress management challenges. Our inclusive practice emphasizes culturally competent care, catering to a diverse clientele from various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Your role will be pivotal in delivering tailored support that respects and responds to each client’s unique circumstances. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required. Possession of a valid mental health license in California (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - LPCC, Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT). A minimum of two years of direct professional experience in mental health counseling is essential. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and empathize with clients. A strong commitment to providing ethical and high-quality care, with a focus on client-centered outcomes. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations and complex mental health cases. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and e-health records for efficient service delivery. Proven track record of adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the varied needs of clients effectively. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
