Location: Atlanta, TX


Hours: M-F, 8-5


Pay: $20/hr, doe


Benefits: no medical at this time, paid holidays, 80hrs vacation a year, 25K Life Insurance, 50K Accidental, working on 401K plan

The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day administrative and accounting functions. This position requires strong math skills, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction and trucking environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, data entry, QuickBooks, Excel, employee timekeeping, and trucking/DOT documentation.

• Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support to management and field employees.
• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Enter invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial information accurately into QuickBooks.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and assist with collections and account follow-up.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer, vendor, employee, and job records.
• Enter and verify employee hours and timekeeping information for payroll processing.
• Review employee timecards for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain trucking records, driver information, mileage, and related documentation.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing DOT logs and compliance records .
• Track trucking and equipment-related information as needed.
• Use Excel to maintain spreadsheets, track hours, expenses, job information, and other company data.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations involving hours, quantities, materials, rates, invoices, and job costs.
• Assist with job costing, purchase orders, receipts, and expense tracking.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, truck drivers, employees, and management professionally.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist management with reports and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, and financial information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

• Construction or trucking office experience a plus!
• QuickBooks experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• DOT/trucking documentation experience
• Job costing or construction accounting experience
• Payroll and employee timekeeping experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of invoicing and payment processing
