CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides essential patient care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and meal setup. Maintains flexibility by floating between multiple floors to ensure consistent support across the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Set up and deliver meals according to residents' dietary instructions.
• Support residents in mobilization and transfers to promote safety and independence.
• Document care activities and resident responses accurately in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to report any changes in residents' conditions.
• Adapt to float responsibilities across different floors to meet unit needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA license or certification.
• Prior experience in LTC/SNF settings preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy loads.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic resident care procedures and safety standards.
• Reliable and flexible with shift assignments.
