Starting this September and running through December, you’ll support students during a Leave of Absence and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services. With full-time availability preferred but part-time considered, this assignment offers meaningful, impactful work with a supportive educational team.

You’ll serve a single elementary campus and help students in a K-5 environment thrive in academic and daily living settings. With significant changes anticipated due to upcoming board meetings, your adaptability, initiative, and team spirit will be highly valued as you seamlessly integrate into the school's dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California (active and in good standing)
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt quickly to changing needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work full-time or part-time as needed
• NO COTAs requirements (OT only)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students
• Provide direct therapy and consult with teachers and staff
• Maintain progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal student outcomes
