Quick Facts Location: Tyler, TX (1000 South Beckham Avenue, Tyler, TX 75701) Start Date: 08/24/2026 End Date/Duration: Short-term coverage (exact end date flexible) Shift: Mon-Fri, Day Shift, with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens/Contract License/Certifications: State medical license, DEA Experience: Prior experience in Gastroenterology preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout assignment What You ll Do Perform scheduled colonoscopies and upper GI procedures in the clinic and GI lab Manage inpatient consults and follow-up care for GI patients Collaborate with midlevel providers and hospital staff to coordinate patient treatment Follow established protocols for procedure prep, post-op care, and documentation Ensure quality patient care and maintain accurate medical records Support the team during high-demand periods to meet service objectives What You Need Valid medical license in Texas DEA certification Prior experience in Gastroenterology or related field preferred Strong procedural skills in colonoscopy and other GI interventions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment Join a dynamic and busy GI service line at a leading healthcare facility in Tyler, Texas.
