The Barista & Cashier plays a vital role within a small team, delivering exceptional customer service and managing daily routine tasks to ensure smooth café operations. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position involves handling cash transactions, preparing coffee, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized environment without any travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Prepare coffee and other beverages
- Take and process customer orders
- Maintain cleanliness of work and customer areas
- Operate coffee-making and POS equipment
- Demonstrate product knowledge to assist customers
- Keep organized to support efficient operations
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Cash handling experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Effective communication skills
- Time management capabilities
- Ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail
