IT Project Manager

Role Description

We are seeking an Information Technology Project Manager reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications. This position is based out of our global headquarters in Duncan, South Carolina. This is a remote position, with some travel (Domestic & International) required per business/project needs, estimated at 25%.

The role of the IT Project Manager (PM) is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to business and IT goals, established deadlines, and budget. This includes:

• Identifying resource requirements.
• Ensuring resources are acquired and on-boarded efficiently.
• Coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
• Building business cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Defining project objectives.
• Ensuring policies, processes, and procedures are effectively followed.
• Overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle.

This position will also support developing business requirements for ServiceNow and working with our team to develop, test, and implement required changes/processes.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Build solid business cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage the portfolio of prioritized IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle ensuring achievement of business cases.
• Lead and manage IT projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Train team leaders and other project managers to ensure consistent project delivery in alignment with IT Project management processes.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Regularly report project status to project stakeholders.
• Lead the Business Analysis of our internal Service Now requirements as we evolve our IT project management processes focused on our intake and prioritization of work processes.

Information Technology Application Knowledge

• Service Now – Information Technology Business Management is used as our IT project management tool.
• Microsoft Office.
• Microsoft SharePoint / Teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year college/university degree in either information technology, computer science, software engineering, or business management.
• Experience in successfully building an IT program management office in a global manufacturing environment.
• 8-10 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of PM process development and execution.
• 5-8 years direct experience leading IT projects.
• Experience leading business transformation and organizational change management initiatives.
• Excellent skill in combining project management practices with software development.
• Exceptional skill in time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Proven experience in developing compelling business cases and delivering expected ROIs.
• Proven experience in delivering status reports and presentations to multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
